Vígmolnár Csárda (originally a mill) was abandoned from the 70s, and it exchanged many hands and concepts. László Lock and his family saw the potential, and challenge of the building and the area, and they decided to renovate the old mill. They created a successful restaurant that is famous for its home cooking, original recipes, and great quality. However, the fame came with a constant drive to create new menus and concepts, so the started a new chapter. They chose the hard way, and made it their mission to make “csárdagastronomy” (traditional country-side inn gastronomy) great again. They are not rethinking but revamping Hungarian country gastronomy, with rare ingredients, old recipes and lots of love.
