Csaba Kovács and his wife Hajnalka have been making cheese and other dairy products since 2008 at Nemesvámos. Originally they wanted to set up a manège and a horse riding school, but they ended up having horses, pigs, dogs, cats and a few cows. At the beginning they were using basic techniques to make cheese, but after involving Tamás Sándor (master cheesemaker), the couple have leveled up. They have invested in equipment and technology, and now they run one of the most successful cheese atelier in Hungary.
Quality is of the utmost importance for the couple, and they are tirelessly communicating this and the benefits of consuming quality products to their guests. They use 2000 liters of milk weekly to make cheeses, yoghurts, creams, cream cheeses and more. Their name has became the guarantee for quality in cheesemaking and more and more people are interested in trying real dairy products from Tekeresvölgyi Family Estate.
