Description

Lajos Szabó founded Kőröshegyi Lavender Farm in 2012, after finding an abandoned field, to share the miracles of herbs and plants with everyone. He got his first plants from the Tihany Abbey’s lavender nursery, and later planted English and French varieties.

Only 3 kilometers from Lake Balaton, the 7-hectare-estate can be visited during spring (tulip blossom) and summer. It is a real treat to see the beautiful view of the lake, the Tihany peninsula and the blooming flowers. Since 2017 the estate has hosted “pick yourself” events, picnics, concerts and yoga retreats.
