Kisjakabfalva (in German, Jackfall) is a tiny village located in the south corner of Baranya county. The settlement is famous for its “svab” heritage – beautiful facades of traditional houses, antique furniture hidden in barns, and brick wine cellars that are still in use.
The Jackfall Winery (founded in 2001) is a proud promoter of local customs and wine traditions. The building and estate (now used as the winery and tasting room) have always been regarded as one of the most beautiful one not only in the village, but throughout the Villany Wine Region.
At the moment, Jackfall has significant areas (around 14 hectares) in Kisharsány and Nagytótfalu. Their goals include purchasing more land, which they will use to plant more vines, as well as build a cosy place for guests to stay. The winery aims to produce quality red wine, from local grapes, and spread the good word about the Villany Wine Region.

We don’t want to add any other flavours to the wine, apart from what the grape gives. We want to show the fruits, and its characteristics. (Gabor Jandrasics)
