Attila Homonna has managed a (according to him) simple estate at Erdőbénye, Tokaj since 1999.
He is a real character, and this can be felt through and through his wines. Attila believes in “technique before technology” and makes low-intervention, terroir driven wines from old-vine Furmint and Hárslevelű. He follows Maria Thun’s calendar, and farms with organic & biodynamic guidelines in mind. His annual production rarely exceeds 10.000 bottles, and he sells to the best restaurants in the world.
Attila represents simplicity, in the best possible way, at Tokaj-Hegyalja, and his aim is to fine-tune his wines and his approach, year after year.
