The Heimann family has been making wines since 1758 in the Szekszárd Wine Region. Wine is their life, and their values lie in hard work, and community. They currently farm on 25 hectares and believe in the potential of autochton, local grape varieties (like Kadarka, and Kékfrankos) and traditional cuvees, like bikavér.
The Heimanns want to keep their family winery intact and relatively small, there are no plans of expansion – rather they would like to maximise the potential of terroir and the beautiful semi-mediterranean weather at the Bati kereszt, Baranya, Csötöny, Porkoláb and Iván valley, where their parcels are. They focus on creating “happy” and healthy wines for any occasion, and their goal is to show the true face of the region, their family traditions, as well as the uniqueness of Hungarian wines.
