Zoltán Németh wanted to create something brand new over ten years ago and he decided to open a special place at the bottom of the Szigliget Castle. He knew close to nothing about hospitality, or running a cafe, but he did know that he wanted to create something top notch. He and his wife, Bogi, started making Italian-style gelato over 7 years ago from pure and local ingredients. Nothing added, no nasty business, just delicious ice-creams, amazing (and often unusual and extremely creative, like pumpkin seed) flavours and great service.
Zoltán and his colleagues decide on the daily flavours and menu in the morning, which makes this Balaton spot even more charming!
