The story of Anyukám Mondta (“My Momma Says”) is one for the ages. Szilárd and Szabolcs Dudás started out as kitchen porters at one of the best restaurants near Lake Garda in Italy. Over the years, they worked their way up to manage the floor and the kitchen of the restaurant, and learnt the ins and outs of traditional Italian pizza making. They decided to open a guest-oriented restaurant in Encs (one of the poorest villages of North-East Hungary) focusing on providing the best hospitality and ingredients possible. The small corner bistro (formerly known as Sarok Presso) has become one of the best restaurants of Hungary and the blue print for excellent pizza and service.
